The JTC ("Jump To the Challenge") caters for children and young people aged between 10 & 13 years, and here at St Andrew's they meet between 7:15pm & 8:45pm on a Friday evening.

As befits the title of this section we like to introduce a challenge to our members which requires them to cooperate with each other in team situations. This theme is continued and progressed when our members are transferred to the Senior Corps. We also try to encourage our JTC members to begin to examine their role in the Christian family, and to explore their faith in more depth than in the Y-Team.

As with all other Brigade sections, the JTC has a comprehensive badge scheme offering our members a chance to follow particular interests and gain badges in a wide and varied range of subjects. In addition to this, our members can undertake the Adventure Service Challenge Scheme which is similar in style to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme but can be undertaken by members within the JTC age ranges and continued in the early Senior Corps.
