Seniors |
|
The oldest section of Brigade, the Seniors are made up of young people aged between 13 and 21, and meet every Friday from 8.30pm to 10pm.
| Here at St Andrew's, the Seniors are one of our most active sections with every member having been involved in National events at some point. Their programme involves a wide variety of activities, with opportunities for the members to examine and explore their own faith, to develop a strong sense of teamwork, and most importantly, to enjoy themselves as a friendly and sociable group of people. | ![]() |

Seniors are encouraged to participate in a
selection of challenges, with a large contingent opting to take part in
the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme. As well as this, the company offers
the Brigade's Team Challenge award, community and charity activities, and
outdoor pursuits such as white water rafting and paint-balling. The
company is also in the process of producing its own badge scheme, focused
on providing the members with new opportunities and experiences.
As befits their age and status, Senior members are encouraged to use their own initiative and take a more responsible role within the company. Many of the members do this by volunteering to help with younger sections, and the vast majority find this a rewarding and enjoyable experience. |
